Cal Overstock and Surplus

Cal Overstock & Surplus is the unit responsible for the appropriate disposal of UC Berkeley campus property.  This includes office furniture, desktop computers, laptops, vehicles, lab equipment, small machinery, and more!  These items are sold  "as is," and all sales are final.  Hours of operation are Tuesday - Friday 8:30-am - 4:00 pm.

The department serves the greater community by offering free e-Recycling every third Friday of the month.  E-waste is recycled responsibly, and the statistics are truly impressive:  245 tons of metal recycling and 179 tons of e-waste demanufactured, for a total of 424 tons of waste diverted from landfills.  Don't pay to recycle your e-waste; take it to Cal Overstock & Surplus where recycling is free. 

The department is officially a Green Business.
